For a customer in the Marine & Offshore industry in the Netherlands, INPRO member Varekamp Exportpacking & Logistics has coördinated a project in which the customer sources its products in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Turkey and South Korea. Final destination of the products is Malaysia. As the single source of contact Varekamp has coordinated with INPRO members and associated agents in these countries for the in-time packing and shipping of the products. Varekamp has set up the packing specifications and managed the planning and the execution of the packing jobs in various countries involved. The project started in 2012 and finishes in the first half of 2013. It involved over 25 packed box and high cube containers and several flat rack containers.
